Our mission at Americas Best Advocates is to create a legal directory featuring competent attorneys and law firms across the United States.  Our selections reflect our own independent evaluations and are not intended to represent a comprehensive list of all qualified attorneys or law firms in any given area. Consumers should understand that many skilled and competent attorneys or firms may not appear in our directory, either because they were not nominated or because they chose not to accept a nomination. Nominations cannot be purchased, and selection is based solely on our internal research, criteria, and nomination process. Inclusion in our directory requires nomination followed by acceptance of that nomination, so the final list may be influenced by how many nominated attorneys or firms choose to participate. Additionally, for certain states, we may further break down our lists into regional sections to better reflect the population, geographic distribution, or specific legal needs within that state. References to terms such as Top Ten, Top, Our Choice, Dedication to Justice, Dedicated to Justice, Best, America’s Best, Best,  or similar wording on this website or in our materials are solely reflective of our internal selection process and evaluation methodology. These terms do not imply official ranking, endorsement, or universal consensus, nor do they guarantee any specific level of performance or competence. Attorneys and law firms who are nominated have the option to accept either a free membership or a paid membership. Attorneys and firms, if nominated, may accepted a no cost listing by contacting support@americasbestadvocates.org. Paid memberships are entirely optional and provide additional benefits such as enhanced profiles, promotional materials, press releases, other marketing tools, etc. Payment for these optional benefits does not influence the selection process, guarantee inclusion in the directory, or reflect on the attorney’s or law firm’s competence. All selections are made based on our independent research and nomination process, not on payment. Membership fees apply only to optional marketing and promotional services — not to the selection or listing itself.

Final selection is made at the sole discretion of Americas Best Advocates, and we reserve the right to modify, expand, or reduce our selection criteria at any time. As part of our promotional efforts, we may issue press releases announcing selections to national and local media outlets. However, publication by those outlets is not guaranteed, and we cannot guarantee the timing, frequency, or format of such press releases. Press releases may also be sent in bulk or on a periodic basis, such as quarterly, at our discretion.
